Do I need a YouTube API key?
Yes. Channel Radar uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. You connect your own YouTube Data API v3 key, which keeps you in full control of quota and access.
Can I track competitor channels I do not own?
Yes. Any public YouTube channel can be added for competitor tracking. Channel Radar fetches publicly available data via the YouTube Data API.
How is this different from YouTube Studio?
YouTube Studio shows your channel only. Channel Radar shows your entire market — your channels alongside any competitor channels you choose to track.
What plan do I need to get started?
The Free plan lets you track a limited number of channels and videos with no payment required. Pro and Agency plans unlock higher limits and additional features.
Is my API key stored securely?
Yes. API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. They are never logged or exposed in client-side code.
